Thank you for visiting the Li'l Sugar Doxies website!  We are located in rural northwestern Pennsylvania.   Li'l Sugar Doxies are breeders  of both long-haired and short-haired ("smooth coat") AKC miniature dachshunds in most colors and patterns.  They are raised in our home with love and care so they are well socialized and used to the everyday sounds and smells that they will be exposed to in your home.  Dachshunds will prove themselves to be very loving and loyal members of your family.  Doxies in general are low maintenance and shed very little.  They come in numerous coat patterns and colors and I will warn you they are addictive!  I grew up with large dogs and never thought I would have a small dog.  I WAS WRONG!  When I was introduced to this wonderful breed I was absolutely taken by the affection they show.  I really think my doxies think they are “big” dogs...they don’t seem to be afraid of anything!  I hope you will take your time and look through our website and feel free to write or call with stories or questions.
